Just Keep It Simple

Mood: Bookworm-ish
Music: Mirror Mirror - M2M
I don't think I'll ever tire of the song Mirror Mirror by M2M. It's just SUCH a great song and I can replay it for like WEEKS on my computer over and over again and I'd STILL sing to it without fail.
Changed the layout, as you can see. It's very...uhh...simple. LOL.
I've had that little butterfly pic saved in my folders for the longest of times already. It seemed just way too plain to be used in my mind.
But these past few days (especially after a long chat with Justine yesterday) I just wished that life would go back to the simplicity of how it was last year and all the years before.
No more talking shit behind your friend's back even when they're right THERE listening to you. No more blaming others even when it's not even their fault.
Everyone's changing, not only me, contrary to what some may think.
A lot of us hate change and some of us even like to avoid people who ARE changing. Maybe in the end, only you will be happy because you're not around them much anymore, but what kind of friend are you really if you just avoid them for the sake of your own self?
And I didn't just say all that to help myself get noticed again, I just said that as a response to a topic that was brought up last night.
Yeah, and only Justine knows what I'm really talking about.
Borrowed like six books from the library today, all of them due on the 23rd. I really, REALLY hope I finish them all.
In the pile of books scattered on my bed at the moment are The Daring Game, Silverwing, Firewing, Sunwing, The Dead Water Zone and Fairytales.
For some very nerd-ish pet peeve of mine this summer, I intend to do a lot of reading.
And to push that thought further, I just received a letter from Riverdale today explaining the schedules and whatnot.
It's just reminding me how two months of fun in the sun isn't gonna last very long and then...we're back sitting on scratched desks in front of the blackboard again.
This time in HIGH SCHOOL.
And gawd, I don't wanna go.
